| | KPF – Filter systems for dust (Dust separators)As with smoke, dust is a finely distributed solid with more or less buoyancy.
Dust separators are suitable if solid air pollutants, e.g. dusts and smokes, should be separated. Depending on the type and design of the filter medium, filtering separators are suitable for very many different particle sizes. Their separation efficiency is up to 99.995 %.
Extraction of harmful substances at the source is a basic requirement which is also specified in the Workplaces Ordinance § 3 (1), Appendix 3.6 Ventilation.
The Klepp filter systems for dust (KPF) are available in two versions.
KPF series with adjustable air power: The speed regulation can be controlled continuously via LED-display with keypad. An optic signal and text messages indicate the need for action and maintenance. The display also contains the operating hours counter and the filter status.
KPF eco series with constant air power: An indicator light at the control panel shows whether the device works perfectly. An acoustic signal indicates for action and maintenance.
The Klepp dust separators are ideal solutions for continuous and optimum extraction and filtering of the harmful substances. The contaminated air is acquired directly at the point of origin using practical capture elements (e.g. suction arms from dia.75). The extracted harmful substances are transferred to the central filter unit using a pipeline system individually designed for your requirement. Starting with the KPF Series 810 of the Klepp filtering equipment, the filter cartridges are cleaned using an electronic cycle controller. During the cleaning process, the individual filter cartridges are alternately closed with a cover and thus removed from the intake flow. The compressed air flows on to the rotor nozzle and creates a rotary motion due to the arrangement of the nozzles. The pleats of the cartridges are thus cleaned very intensively along the complete length. The cleaned-off particles are collected in a collection container. The system can optionally be operated in exhaust or recirculated air mode.
