| | KSF – Welding fumes Extraction SystemsEach welding process creates toxic fumes, liquid splashes, metal and fine dust particles. The hazards are depending on which welding process und which material is used.
Only specifically to the needs of welding concerted local suction systems offer the possibility to collect large portions of the welding fumes directly. The ambient air is not mixed with the contaminated air. This protects the user from pollutants in the breathing zone.
The Klepp welding fumes filters (KSF) are available in two versions.
KSF series with adjustable air power:
The
speed regulation can be controlled continuously via LED-display with
keypad. An optic signal and text messages indicate the need for action
and maintenance. The display also contains the operating hours counter
and the filter status.
KSF eco series with constant air power:
An
indicator light at the control panel shows whether the device works
perfectly. An acoustic signal indicates for action and maintenance.
The contaminated air is acquired directly at the point of origin using practical capture elements and hoods. The harmful substances at first reach a steel baffle plate, before they are transferred to the filter system. An air scoop takes the pollutants into the filter chamber, where they are cleaned in the triple filter system..
The mechanical welding fumes filter are available as a model for mobile use in changing jobs (KSF2100F) and as a model for wall mounting for permanent jobs locally (KSF2100W). Both models can be equipped with an activated carbon filter for odors. The filters are replaced comfortably using the maintenance doors.
